What is SEO and SEO stand for

 

 SEO: Search engine optimization 

SEO is also called short form for SEO, which means Search Engine Optimization. It is a set of practices that work towards getting a website or webpage listed on the search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo, with the ultimate aim of increasing organic(non paid ) traffic to a website by making the website attractive to search engines. It uses many different strategies and techniques that are aimed at several layers of the content of a given website, and more importantly, its structure and those coming from the outer world.

 This is the optimization of a website according to search results from local sources. It relates to businesses that are run from a physical base. Some techniques include:

SEO is a long-term and continuing process because search engines perpetually update their algorithms. "Good" SEO strives towards making the site rank higher, make them more relevant to search queries of users, and increase click-through rates; therefore, it leads to increased visibility and traffic.
